BIO
Self taught, Sandy Redman finds inspiration for her art from her passion for outdoor adventures and her deep connection to the natural world. Her acrylic paintings aim to draw out the simple beauty of nature's many forms and colours. Ripples in water, the flow of trees, colours changing on a mountain, the life of a prairie sky, and our majestic Canadian wildlife are painted using simple representational shapes, flowing lines and a calming muted colour palette.
Sandy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1973, spending much of her childhood exploring the lakes, rivers and forests of the Canadian Shield. She moved to beautiful British Columbia in 2008, where she currently lives, plays and creates. Her paintings are being enjoyed in private homes across Canada and internationally.
